Last year Wittur presented a publication focused on special elevator projects developed by Wittur with architects and consultants worldwide.
Wittur now launchs the Chinese version of this book for the convenience of Chinese readers.
The book "LIFTISMORE" aims at introducing some architectural project where the elevator design was considered not only for its usefulness, but also as an element of style: an additional space where the pen of the designer can incorporate the overall building concept.
 

Schindler (China) Elevator Co., Ltd., one of the world's largest elevator companies, held a grand annual supplier conference in Suzhou on November 26^th, 2015. Wittur Elevator Components (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.  was invited as the most important Schindler supplier and awarded the "Best Supplier 2015" of Schindler (China) Elevator Co., Ltd.
 
Mr. Herbiet, Purchasing Director for Asia Pacific of Schindler, announced the victory of Wittur.
Mr. Thomas Oetterli, CEO of Schindler Group China, presented the award to Mr. Li Shaohua, General Manager of Wittur China.

On November 4th 2015, Wittur Elevator Components hosted an event in Hotel Fénix in Lisbon, Portugal, as a Wittur Open Day. The Export Team of Wittur Spain, represented by our Sales Representatives Mr. Daniel Domingos, Mr. José Alberto Gil and headed by Mr. Arnaldo Almeida, held two separate sessions for almost 100 independent Portuguese customers.
Three weeks later, an identical event took place at the remarkable framework of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Casablanca (Morocco). A complete Wittur Group profile as well as an overview of our whole product portfolio was shown to many customers, who greatly appreciated the capacity of empathy, proximity and service that Wittur can offer to them with respect to the increasingly demanding requirements of the market.
These Open Doors Days aim to bring our customers closer, not only to our corporate values, but also to the quality, diversity and innovation of all Wittur products, which highly strengthen our commercial relationships with all our customers.

On 20th Oct, 2015 Wittur China has celebrated its 20th anniversary with the official opening of a new showroom in its production facility in Wujiang near Suzhou, China. Dr. Walter Rohregger, Wittur Group CEO, Mr. Sergio Biglino, Group executive VP of Asia Pacific, and Mr. Li Shaohua Wittur China Managing Director were present at the ceremony.

Dr. Rohregger mentioned in his speech that ”the transformation of the business here over the last three years is unbelievable and the timing is brilliant, because this is an important milestone after 20 years history of Wittur in China! Never forget that the new showroom means to better present our products to customers.”

 After the ceremony, the new showroom opened for the visit of Wittur management team.

Wiedenzhausen / Osio Sotto, 11 August 2015 – Wittur and Sematic today announced that they have agreed to merge in order to create a leading global supplier in the elevators and elevator components manufacturing industry. Bain Capital, as the owner of Wittur, and The Carlyle Group and the Zappa family, as joint owners of Sematic, have signed an agreement on the transfer of a controlling interest in Sematic to Wittur. Carlyle and the Zappa family will retain a stake in the combined entity.

Wittur is proud to invite all professionals in the elevator business to come to the Interlift 2015 exhibition at the Augsburg Exhibition Centre from October 13^th to October 16^th 2015. The highlight of this year’s Interlift will be the new 1,500 m² modern pavilion, named ’WITTUR CUBE’,  exclusively dedicated to Wittur. WITTUR CUBE will be directly connected to the main entrance, Hall 1 and Hall 7.
