According to EN81-1/2 A3 and EN81-21 A1 (new lifts in existing buildings), new lifts installed after January 1st 2012 must be equipped with a system to prevent a car moving away from the floor with the landing door not in the locked position and the car door not in the closed position.

Taurus car door
Taurus is beyond all doubt the strongest car door of Wittur production range.
Ideal for really heavy traffic solutions, such as large-dimensions and heavy-duty goods lifts, it is designed especially for industry.
Advantages:

- Centre opening from two to six panels
- One-side opening from two to three panels
- Clear opening from a minimum of 800 mm up to a maximum of 5000 mm
- It's coupled to its Taurus operator
